A San Angelo man convicted this week of three felony crimes was sentenced on Thursday at the Tom Green County Courthouse. The jury that found 40-year-old Elias Shawn Bihl guilty sentenced him to 25 years for each of two charges of aggravated assault and two years for unlawful possesion of a firearm. Those sentences will run concurrently. Bihl has claimed he acted in self defense when he shot two men at an apartment complex on North Lillie Street last February.
