Angelo State University's Department of Biology will host an Open House for its Angelo State Natural History Collections this Thursday. The event will run from 5 to 7 PM in the Cavness Science Building on Dena Drive. Activities will include a presentation by Dr. Terry Maxwell, professor of biology, titled "Natural History Writing" at 6, as well as tours of the Natural History Collection and a reception. The collection contains more than 100-thousand specimens of mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds and plants from the Concho Valley and around the world.
