NaNoWriMo

National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo, starts its 15th year on Friday and the Tom Green County library will have a kickoff open to the public. It's scheduled for 5 PM in the Sugg Community Room at the Stephens Central Library on West Beauregard. NaNoWriMo of Berkeley, California, expects over 500-thousand writers around the world to participate this year. The challenge is to write a novel of at least 50-thousand words by 11:59 pm on November 30th.
