The Fort Concho Vintage Baseball Club will begin its 2011 season with a public meeting and practice at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark on Oakes St. Anyone 12 and up who wants to play or watch vintage baseball is welcome. The teams will play in 19th century replica uniforms and use authentic equipment from that period. They're also recruiting teens 12 to 16 to create a historic team called the San Angelo Kids. Plus they need umpires if you'd like to get involved.
