The wind has calmed some and the fire has slowed but that massive blaze near Austin continues to ravage the countryside today. Exhausted firefighters are getting some help from all over the state and so are aid workers. Locally, the Concho Valley Red Cross is asking for donations to help with relief efforts in the fire area.
