Portions of West Central Texas, including the Concho Valley, are under a hazardous weather outlook. The National Weather Service at San Angelo says scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are expected today and tonight across an area roughly north of a line from Sterling City to Robert Lee to Brownwood. Some of the storms will also contain frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. Other threats include strong gusty winds, hail and localized flooding, especially in poor drainage areas.
