Earlier this month, the Department of Public Safety added a fugitive, 32-year-old Rocky Duran Ramirez, to Texas' 10 Most Wanted list. Ramirez was sought on a parole violation-engaging in organized criminal activity--and two local city warrants. Word was sent out that he had gang ties and friends and family in San Angelo and Lubbock. Friday, we learned that Ramirez was apprehended in San Angelo last Tuesday by the DPS, the U.S. Marshal Service and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The arrest resulted from a collaborative investigation by the agencies.
