Tuesday was primary election day and, according to unofficial
results in Tom Green County, interim County Judge Steve Floyd
defeated Richard Easingwood Junior. Liz McGill won the County Clerk
race, Diana Spieker won for County Treasurer; for the county
commission, Rick Bacon won in Precinct Number Three and Bill Ford won
in Precinct Number Four.
For U.S. Representative in District One, incumbent Mike Conaway
defeated Wade Brown and for State Representative in District 72, it
was Drew Darby over Shannon Thomason.
