Eight candidates filed for the three San Angelo City Council seats that will be filled in the May 10th election. The three winners will fill full two-year terms in the Single-Member Districts 1, 3 and 5 seats. The candidates who filed prior to Friday’s 5 p.m. deadline are, in District One, Rodney Fleming, Trinidad Aguirre Jr. and Bill Richardson; in District Three, Richard C. Bastardo Sr., Johnny Silvas and Eugenio Ismael Garcia and, in District Five, Philip Skinner and Elizabeth Grindstaff.
