There was a slight uptick in the unemployment rate in Texas last month. It went from six-point-nine percent in May to seven percent in June. However, the state economy did add 12-thousand-900 seasonally adjusted non-farm jobs last month. Unemployment in San Angelo is still well below the statewide rate, although it did go up from five-point-four percent in May to six percent in June.
