A stretch of roadway was officially renamed on Wednesday, Pearl Harbor Day, in honor of the thousands of local military veterans who have given their all in service to the country. A special dedication ceremony was held at Kids Kingdom Park. Veterans and officials from Goodfellow Air Force Base, along with San Angelo and Tom Green County officials, were on hand as more than two miles of River Drive was renamed Veterans Memorial Drive.
