A couple of trials are underway at the Tom Green County Courthouse. A San Angelo man is charged with attempted capital murder and aggravated assault on a public servant. In May of last year, 24-year-old Richard Dennis allegedly got out of his car after a chase through the city and shot a police officer. The officer was wearing a bulletproof vest and was not seriously injured. And a Christoval man is accused of attacking real estate agent Brenda Jackson after a home invasion in October of 2010. 25-year-old Abram Clark is charged with aggravated robbery.
