San Angelo police are looking for a purse-snatcher. 48-year-old Carol Stinson says she was approached in the 2200 block of Pecos on Tuesday afternoon by a man who asked her for money. Stionson said she had none--he then asked for a cigarette and as she opened her purse to get him one, he hit her in the head with some sort of object, grabbed the purse and ran away. The suspect is a while male, about 6 feet tall with a scruffy beard and wearing dark colored pants with a dark hooded sweatshirt. If you know anything, contact Crime Stoppers.
