The city of Robert Lee has announced that construction of the new emergency water transmission line to the city of Bronte has begun. The public is invited to a groundbreaking ceremony this Friday at 1:30 PM at the intersection of Highway 158 and Water Plant Road. Volunteers are installing approximately five miles of the water transmission line along Highway 158. The emergency pipeline is expected to be finished by the end of March.
