San Angelo police responding to a car crash that injured two people in a Hyundai Sonata at 5th and Chadbourne Street on Monday found shell casings on the ground near the vehicle but investigators have found no evidence that any gunfire took place. In fact, the casings could have been on the ground for some time. The Hyundai had apparently been involved in an earlier accident with a Dodge Durango. At this time, police believe that the drivers of the Hyundai and Durango were involved in an unknown dispute before the collision. The driver of the Durango has not been positively identified or located.
