A San Angelo man who was recently featured on a SAPD Wanted Poster has been arrested. At around 10 on Wednesday evening, an officer saw a vehicle which he believed was occupied by the fugitive, 31-year-old Eric Estrada, exiting the Walmart parking lot on West 29th Street. The officer tried to conduct a traffic stop on West 27th Street. The vehicle pulled into a private driveway and police say Estrada got out and attempted to flee on foot, unsuccessfully. A search turned up a glass pipe and a small baggy containing marijuana. Estrada had been sought on a charge of aggravated battery in connection with an incident earlier this month at a Motel Six on North Bryant Boulevard.
