Texans can start casting ballots today for next month's Democratic and Republican primaries.
Primary day actually takes place March 4.
Secretary of State Nandita Berry says voters can cast early ballots through Feb. 28.
The deadline to request a ballot by mail comes Friday.
Voting in person requires photo identification.
The general election follows Nov. 4.
