The city has presented San Angelo police with a new pay proposal. According to the Standard-Times, starting salaries would go up 901 dollars for recruits, 953 dollars for probationary police officers, 23-99 for sergeants and 22-07 for lieutenants. SAPD is not ready to accept that offer. The two sides will meet again on February 26th.
