The Texas Department of Transportation will launch a new safety campaign aimed at drivers traveling through the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford Shale area. Because those areas are energy zones, drivers share the road with trucks and heavy equipment so extra precaution is needed. TxDOT will launch a media blitz with safe driving messages to reduce accidents in those locations.
