Monday afternoon around two-thirty, a reckless driver headed south on Chadbourne near the public transit facility prompted multiple calls to 9-1-1. San Angelo police received a report of a crash near North Chadbourne and 5th Street, where they found a Hyundai Sonata disabled and two people inside, a 30-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, injured. They were treated and released at the scene. Officers also found shell casings from an unknown weapon near the car. And they later learned that the Hyundai had been involved earlier in a crash with a Dodge Durango on North Oakes Street. The Durango was abandoned, no victims have come forward and it's not clear which driver was at fault.
