It was five years ago this week that a man named Juan Ibarra was shot to death in San Angelo. The Police Department's Cold Case Section is seeking information regarding the murder, which took place in the 700 block of East Avenue D Street. A red or maroon passenger car was seen driving in the alley. Investigators believe Ibarra might have been killed by someone who knew him and there could be more than one suspect. The motive for the murder is still unknown. Ibarra was described as having few enemies, was very well liked, and left behind two young daughters.
