A San Angelo man arrested on several felony charges after jumping out of a moving vehicle and fleeing police this weekend. On Saturday, an officer pulled over a vehicle for committing a traffic violation at the BelVue Apartments on North Bell Street. While the vehicle was still in motion, the driver jumped out and fled the scene. The passenger, 24-year-old Ubil Samaniego of San Angelo, was arrested for an outstanding County Warrant. Police say they saw suspected narcotics in plain view in the interior of the car. With help from Police Service Dog Snoop, the SAPD tracked down and arrested the driver, 29-year-old Christian Montanez of San Angelo.
