San Angelo police are warning of an online scam involving PayPal. If you receive an email from Paypal informing you that your account is temporarily blocked or limited it could be a scam. The scam email will contain a link that will look like a PayPal web address. When you click on the link it will actually send you to a website that looks identical to PayPal but the web address will not be paypal.com. To check on your PayPal account open a new window in your web browser. Go to paypal-dot-com and log in as you normally would. If there are any problems with your account you will be notified when you log in.
