This is the final day for candidates to file to run in the Republican and Democratic primary elections in March. They have until six PM to sign up. Both major parties will urge potential candidates to do so during filing events at 5 pm. The GOP will be meeting at the party's offices at 215 South Koenigheim and Democrats will be in the Coney Island room at 212 South Chadbourne. The primary ballot includes federal, state, and county positions.
