The National Weather Service at San Angelo has issued a special weather statement for west central Texas, including the Concho Valley. Slick and hazardous road conditions are possible throughout much of the area. Residual moisture from the very light precipitation that fell Monday afternoon and evening froze on exposed surfaces, including some roadways, resulting in a layer of black ice.
