As you do your holiday shopping, the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce is reminding you to buy local. Chamber officials say that when you shop locally, you're supporting business, adding to the tax base and expanding long-term shopping opportunities for area residents. They add that more than 50 percent of dollars spent locally remain in the San Angelo economy to multiply, create jobs and support commerce.
