A former FLDS bishop got the maximum sentence allowed from a Coke County jury Tuesday. 75-year-old Frederick Merril Jessop had been convicted the day before of performing an illegal marriage between FLDS leader Warren Jeffs and a 12-year-old girl. Jessop was sentenced to 10 years in prison and fined 10-thousand dollars.
