Interstate speed limits increasing

The speed limit is going up to 75 miles an hour on some 15-hundred miles of interstate within the state of Texas. The increase was approved Thursday by the Texas Transportation Commission and covers 60 Texas counties. That includes I-20 in Van Zandt County, I-35 in Hill County, and I-45 in Navarro County. The new speed limits are not official until new signs are up; in the meantime, continue traveling at posted speeds.
