Injury Accident

Two people were injured in a major traffic crash in San Angelo on Tuesday morning. Police reponded at about 4:45 AM to the 4400 block of Sherwood Way and found a collision between a commercial street sweeper and a Dodge Ram pickup. The driver of the street sweeper was a 22-year-old San Angelo resident who was trapped inside the vehicle and extricated by fire department personnel. That person and the driver of the pickup, a 24-year-old El Dorado resident, were transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No citations were immediately issued.
