A Shannon Clinic pediatrician received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics. The award was given to Dr. Fernando Gonzalez for showing outstanding support, dedication and service in the field of pediatrics. Dr. Gonzalez was appointed to the Board in 2003 and was elected Chair in 2005. His 12-year tenure ended January 1st.
