Good news for Shannon Medical Center: the hospital's Laboratory has received national reaccreditation from the Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists based on the results of an onsite inspection. During the accreditation process, inspectors examine the laboratory’s records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. They also examine laboratory staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety program and record, and overall management.
