Tom Green County Commissioners took action Friday to keep the Tax Assessor Collector's office running following the death on Thursday of Cindy Jetton. They approved a bond for Chief Deputy Becky Robles so that she could take over Jetton's duties. An interim Tax Assessor Collector will be appointed at a later date.
