Teens Arrested

Four teens have been charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Felony Evading with a Vehicle, and Evading Arrest and Detention on Foot after leading police on a short vehicle and foot pursuit in north San Angelo Tuesday afternoon. The four, ranging in age from 14 to 16, allegedly stole a Chevy pickup from the parking lot at the Tom Green County Library and were involved in a hit and run crash before speeding away from the scene.  An officer attempted to pull over the pickup on Pecan Street but it kept going.  The driver jumped out while the vehicle was still moving, as did the three others.  All four were rounded up by police, who say they found marijuana on the driver, who also faces a possession charge.
