The city of San Angelo is thanking residents and businesses for being water smart. The city closed out the year by conserving water. On Tuesday, San Angelo used eight-point-five million gallons of water compared to nine-point-seven million on the same date last year. City officials say such efforts will be needed more than ever in 2014.
