He made history! Ed Beckley aka “The World’s Largest Motorcycle Jumper” attempted a long distance ramp to ramp motorcycle jump over cars on his Harley-Davidson at Foster Communications Coliseum. It was the first jump of its kind, because no one had ever made a safe jump in that area, until Saturday night. The daredevil motorcycle jump was part of the Texas Hot Rod Truck N’ Tractor Pull plus NO LIMITS Monster Truck Showdown and Thrill Show. This wasn't his first jump here. The 300 pound biker, who worked at the Honda Sports Center in San Angelo, jumped at the old Lake Nasworthy Speedway back in 1974 to a sold out crowd of nearly 5,000 people.
