Governor Rick Perry gave his first public remarks since it became clear he’s going to make a run for the Presidency, today. He spoke about job creation and spending restraint at the National Conference of State Legislatures meeting in San Antonio. He has not made an official announcement of his candidacy. That’s likely going to come Saturday, in South Carolina. He has appearances scheduled in New Hampshire and Iowa, this weekend.
