Jeffs Jury Begins Deliberations

The Warren Jeffs trial has gone to the jury. This morning, Special Prosecutor Eric Nichols reminded jurors of DNA evidence and audio recordings presented. In his closing arguments, Jeffs stood silent before the jury for 24 minutes, said “I am at peace,” stood gazing into space five more minutes and sat down. Judge Barbara Walther gave instructions to the jury, and they began deliberations at 12:40.
