Polygamist leader Warren Jeffs will serve a life sentence for child sexual assault charges, but experts say he will likely still rule his church from behind bars. There was, reportedly, no mass exodus from the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints after Jeffs was convicted of sex assault charges in Utah. He’s been in various jails for the last five years, but has continued to direct his congregation. He’s even led Sunday services by phone.
