Measurable Precipitation and Maybe More

There will be scattered thunderstorms again, this afternoon and overnight. It’s not likely they will be severe, but cloud to ground lightning, gusty winds and heavy rainfall is possible, through tomorrow night.
Overnight, the National Weather Service recorded point five two inches of rain. Weather watcher totals varied from point eight seven inches north of town to two tenths of an inch in Bentwood. The last time the Concho Valley had measurable precipitation was June 21st.
