Indicted For Stealing From Non-Profit Organization

A San Angelo woman has been indicted on charges she stole money from the non-profit organization where she worked. Court records show 44-year-old Angela Clayton was indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for stealing between twenty and a hundred-thousand dollars from Samaritan Counseling Center, where she worked as an office manager. Police affidavits reportedly show that the center reported that 35-thousand dollars that was supposed to be deposited in 2010 and early this year disappeared. Clayton's pre-trial hearing is set for Monday.
