It's never a good idea to drink and drive--or to exceed the speed limit--or to leave your seat belt unbuckled. It will be an especially bad idea over the Christmas and New Year's weekends. The Texas Department of Public Safety says all available troopers will be on patrol during "Operation Holiday," which is being funded through a one and a half million dollar grant from the Texas Department of Transportation.
