You can purchase camping spaces for the 6th Annual Showdown in San Angelo Drag Boat races starting at 8:30 next Wednesday morning. The races are scheduled for June 23rd and 24th at Lake Nasworthy. Each year, the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce leases about 40 camping areas on the grassy Meadows side of the lake. Spots range from 300 to 400 dollars.
