The National Weather Service office in San Angelo has sent us a list of what it considers to be the top 5 local weather events from 2011. Number five: the San Angelo flash flood in August, number four: the Clyde downburst in May, number-three: the Abilene hail storm in April, number two: the powerful winter storm and cold in Abilene in February and the number-one local weather event in 2011: drought, wildfires and heat.
