A man arrested for a three-year-old San Angelo murder case was in court in Missouri Thursday. 43-year-old James Owen Winchester was arrested earlier this month by police in Joplin. Winchester is accused of murdering Kim Burton at a residence in the 33-hundred block of Cornell Street in March of 2008. He is awaiting extradition back to San Angelo. As the extradition process continues, Winchester is scheduled for yet another hearing in Joplin next Wednesday.
