Because recent state-wide moisture indicators are moving closer to the normal range, Tom Green County Commissioners did NOT enact a burn ban Tuesday. Residents are still reminded that if they plan a controlled burn of brush, grass, etc, to contact the Sheriff’s Dispatch Office to let them know, be cautious, check the forecast and never burn during windy conditions.
