They call it phishing but there's no rod and reel involved. San Angelo police have issued a warning about a possible phone scam. They've been getting reports from people who say they received an automated message on their phones where the caller says he's from a local bank. He claims that the account holder's debit card has been suspended. If you receive such a call, do not provide any personal information.
