Angelo State University says student employment is a big reason that the school's graduates have one of the lowest debt burdens among regional universities in the U.S. During the most recent academic year, ASU says nearly 12-hundred students worked and received more than four million dollars in wages. According to U.S. News and World Report, ASU grads had the fourth lowest debt among regional universities in the western U.S.
