Despite a dismal showing in the Iowa G-O-P presidential caucuses, Governor Rick Perry still has the support of part of the West Texas Congressional delegation. Both Representatives Mike Conaway and Randy Neugebauer say they're still backing Perry, who finished a distant fifth in Iowa, which was won in a neck-and-neck finish by Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum. Perry's campagn, after an overnight re-assessment of his chances, created a sensation yesterday with a mass Tweet to supporters saying the governor planned to stay in the race and carry on into the South Carolina primary on January 21st. So far, only Minnesota's Michelle Bachman has dropped out of the G-O-P race.
