Boil-Water Notice Lifted For San Angelo

The boil-water notice that's been in effect for many San Angeloans since a water main break on New Year's day has been lifted. City officials canceled the notice as of ten o'clock this morning after lab results showed city was is once again fit to drink. Pressure in the water system is also back up to its normal 90 psi level citywide. The boil-water notice was issued after a 36-inch water main ruptured on Sunday, depriving an estimated thirty thousand San Angelo households of drinkable water. City crews have worked around the clock since then to repair the system and purify the water. Again, the boil-water notice for San Angelo has been lifted as of this morning. City water again safe to drink.
