The Encino Ranch wildfire burned 12-thousand acres last spring and now the federal government is helping out with the expenses. The Tom Green County Commissioners' Court on Tuesday approved a 45-thousand dollar grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Commissioners are hoping for more money from Uncle Sam to help pay for fighting the massive Wilcat fire.
